The best photo's to use :

If it is a dark Object-use a solid white background

A Light Object- solid black background.

Try to avoid photos with a busy background, photo taken more than 10ft away from subject, multiple subjects must be grouped together, and included in 1 photograph

Example: White Dog on a black background will take less editing, and produce better results. If the background has to be "painted" black, it will lose a lot of detail.

If it is a portrait, then the closer the better, see examples on site. If it has to be enlarged to get the face on the pendant, then details will be blurry.
